The 22nd International Exhibition for the Packaging Industry RosUpack will be held in Crocus Expo IEC from 20 to 23 June 2017. The exhibition is organised by ITE Group which is the leader of the Russian exhibition services market.

RosUpack is the largest exhibition of the packaging industry in Russia and Eastern Europe. This year, 600 companies from 30 countries take part in the exhibition. The total area of the exhibition exceeds 23 000 sq. m.

For two decades, RosUpack has established itself as an effective business platform for selecting a supplier of packaging and filling equipment, finished packaging and labels, packaging materials, equipment and raw materials for packaging production. RosUpack visitors have the opportunity to get personally acquainted with the novelties which are presented in Russia for the first time, get competent advices from manufacturers, compare similar offers from different suppliers and choose the equipment that meets their production tasks by concluding contracts on favourable terms. At RosUpack, many companies carry out live presentations of equipment, as well as of various types of finished packaging, equipment and raw materials for its production.

More than 100 companies take part in RosUpack for the first time, among them: Aurora-Pak Engineering, SFT Group, YASKAWA Nordic AB, 1-Pack, Profitex, WATERFALL PRO, Prostor-K, Ermatel and others.

This year, Turkish companies have significantly increased their presence – 35 companies from Turkey take part in the exhibition and more than half of them are manufacturers of packaging equipment.

The business opportunities that exist in Russia are highly appreciated by leading foreign companies. It is no accident that this year RosUpack exhibition is supported by leading Italian industry associations – UCIMA (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Packaging Machinery) and ACIMGA (Italian Manufacturers’ Association of Machinery for the Graphic, Converting and Paper Industry).

Traditionally, many companies prepare presentations of new equipment, packaging materials or finished packaging.

A constant participant of the exhibition – Mondi – will present a wide range of innovative packaging solutions. Specialists will be able to familiarize themselves with nearly all spheres of the company's activity: consumer packaging, technical films, boxboard, industrial bags, and Mondi will present the corrugated packaging for the first time in the history of its participation. Mondi will also present novelties. For example, a water-soluble film which is a smart, eco-friendly and convenient biodegradable solution for packaging and easy dosing of powders, tabs and granulates.

Pharmcontract Group will present solutions for filling of the products of different consistencies into individual and multiple packaging, from liquid and viscous products to packaging of the bulk products.

Terem, an exclusive distributor of Weigang ZJR narrow web flexographic printing machines in Russia and CIS countries, will introduce an 8-colour narrow web flexographic printing machine ZJR-330 with premium specifications.

Astra-Inks, one of the leading manufacturers of flexographic water-based inks in Russia, will present Astra Detergent System – a novel solution in the field of recycling of waste after using the flexographic inks – thanks to which it is possible to easily separate water from the drained ink dry residue after the use of the printing machine. The dry residue is much easier to dispose of, which is very important from the environmental point of view.
